SANTA ROSA BUREAU CULTURAL conceived, structured, raised funds and coordinated the conceptual development and implementation of the only museum dedicated to the Liturgy theme in Latin America.
Located in an eighteenth-century house entirely recovered to its original characteristics, it was inaugurated in April 2012. With contemporary language and ambiance, the Liturgy Museum is a hallmark of the preservation and divulgation of the rich religious heritage of Tiradentes, being also one of the city’s main cultural-touristic attractions.
Through a significant Catholic collection composed of 429 works of entirely restored sacred art, besides audiovisual installations, multimedia terminals and a space dedicated to a vast educational program, the Museum contributes to the understanding and valorization of religious manifestations in Brazilian culture.
