The pipe organ in the Eighteenth Century Regional Museum of São João del-Rei is the oldest example built for civilian use in operation in Brazil.
With prepared, produced and managed by SANTA ROSA BUREAU CULTURAL his painstaking restoration process recovered the furniture, machinery and natural structure of the instrument, composed exclusively of woods of regional flora project. From the analysis of the metal composition and the sound of a single remaining tube, others were rebuilt 224 that had been lost over the years.
